NNU's College of Nursing offers an online Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN FNP) with four one-week campus residency requirements. Our program is designed to prepare the baccalaureate registered nurse to assume the role of Advanced Practice Clinician in nursing. Upon completion of the program, you will have earned a graduate degree in nursing and be prepared for national licensure as a FNP.

The online MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program is designed for the working professional nurse. Courses are offered in an online cohort learning environment along with clinicals in your home state with residency hours on the NNU campus. This program consists of 48 credits for the Baccalaureate in Nursing entry option. You’ll learn from caring faculty with over 160 years of experience. As your professors pass on their years of knowledge to you, they will prepare you to do the same for others.
I pursued the Family Nurse Practitioner program at NNU because I wanted a program that would allow me to get a quality, personalized education that works around my timeframe while living thousands of miles away.
